Tartu Art College graduates receive a professional higher education, which is the first level of higher education.

Registering for courses

A full-time student does not have to register for the compulsory subjects, as they are automatically enlisted in the compulsory subjects.

Students have to register for the subjects in the optional and elective module via the SIS. By registering for a subject (declaration), the student commits to complete the subject. Information about the subjects in the optional and elective module can be requested from the Academic Affairs Department. The Academic Affairs Department also organises the registration for those subjects.

A part-time student has to register (declare) for the compulsory subjects. The choice of subjects has to be coordinated with the head of the respective department and/or the Head of the Centre of General Subjects, and with the Academic Affairs Department.

External students, visiting students, foreign visiting students, and students who wish to participate in a subject that is not in their curricula, have to register (declare) for the subjects. The choice of subjects has to be coordinated with the head of the respective department and/or the Head of the Centre of General Subjects, and with the Academic Affairs Department.
