Study information system (Õppeinfosüsteem or ÕIS in Estonian) is a part of school's general information system. The information system is meant for students and lecturers for getting information on studies. The information system enables students to see the study programmes, timetables and keep an eye on their academic progress. In addition, students can register to courses through the study information system.
The students will receive e-mail address and are given access to Study information system from the IT Department during the first school week.
The student who has been given the right to use the database has to certify by their signature that they are aware of the rules of using the database and follow them.
Students have the right to access the database during their period of study. After graduation, the student's e-mail account is closed on the last working day of September in the graduation year.
When students leave school for other reasons, their e-mail account is closed 2 weeks after their exmatriculation. In special circumstances, students can have access to their e-mail account with rector's permission for up to one year.
