Introduction of the Online Catalogue ESTER
ONLINE CATALOGUE ESTER is the shared catalogue of 16 major Estonian libraries. The catalogue also contains records of items stored in university colleges and special libraries.
The compilation of the online catalogue started in 1999. Although the catalogue has since been continuously supplemented, it does not yet comprehensively reflect the collections of member libraries. The online catalogue ESTER contains records on books, periodicals, sheet music, sound recordings, online resources, etc. Articles published in the Estonian press and collections can be found in the database of Estonian articles ISE.
